The Practitioner

A physio who lifts with you.

Daryl is a Senior Physiotherapist and Strength & Conditioning Coach who treats the person, not just the presentation. His clinic-to-platform model moves patients from pain out to the rack — and keeps them there.

Monash-trained and based in Melbourne, Daryl has spent over a decade at the intersection of manual therapy, movement retraining, and progressive loading. His caseload spans post-surgical rehab, persistent pain, endurance athletes, lifters, and everyday humans who want to stay durable.

Prior to founding TSUYO HEALTH, Daryl was founder and Senior Physiotherapist/Clinical Mentor at Solidus Health & Strength, where he helped shape an integrated physio-and-strength model.

At TSUYO, he directs clinical standards, builds programming, and still holds a full 1:1 caseload.

03 / Approach
How it works

No magic. Just method.

01 Step

Assess, honestly.

Subjective + objective, with time to listen. You'll leave session one with a clear picture of what's going on, and what it will take.

02 Step

Load, deliberately.

Strength isn't a bonus — it's the medicine. Programming is built around your body, your goals, and the week you're actually living in.

03 Step

Measure, ruthlessly.

We track what matters — range, pain, output — and let the numbers decide the next step. Session plans adjust. Standards don't.

04 Step

Graduate, for real.

The goal is not a forever-patient. It's a capable human with a program they trust and the skills to maintain it alone.

Build strong, healthy, durable people, the outcomes follow.

FAQ
Before you book

Quick answers.

How long is the first consult?
60 minutes. Long enough to take a proper history, run a full assessment, agree on a working plan, and start treatment. Most people leave session one with a clear picture of what’s going on and what it’ll take.
What should I bring or wear?
Wear something you can move in — shorts or leggings, a t-shirt. Bring imaging or scan reports if you have them. Otherwise, just yourself.
Do you take health insurance?
[TBC] Yes — HICAPS on-the-spot claiming with most major Australian funds. Out-of-pocket gap depends on your level of cover.
How much does an initial consult cost?
[TBC] Initial consult $XXX / 60 min. Follow-ups from $XXX / 30–45 min. Strength sessions $XXX / 60 min.
Can I do strength sessions without seeing the physio first?
Yes. Strength & conditioning sessions don’t require a physio assessment first — but if there’s any history of injury or pain, a one-off physio session up front means the programming is genuinely individualised, not guesswork.
Where are you based?
Melbourne, Australia. Specific location and parking details are sent with your booking confirmation. Mon–Sat by appointment.
